My wife bought me an autographed "authentic" Jersey for Christmas last year. This year a few of my friend have jerseys of far superior quality at a far cheaper price.

My jersey was autographed by Teddy Bruschi and has a certificate saying its authentic yet the only stching is at the numbers, NFL logo and name. My Friends has stitched everything and is way cooler.

What is the actual authentic jersey as they have all the reebok logos and name tages the same. Only one has a lot of printed stuff and the other is completely sew and stitched.

I am sorry if it seemed like I was unappreciative because that is not the case. The jersey in my question is in a frame in m y sports room.

real authentic jerseys come with a certificate of authencity. Forging that is against the law. The real authentic jersey have only stitching on names, number and the NFL logo (also the reebok logo). As far as I can see, its real.

well all the authentic jerseys are only stitched at name and every layer of the numbers. so what is your question?

Id think the fact your wife gave it to you as a present would mean more to you than the fact your friends have according to you "cooler" ones.

I think the certificate is saying the autograph is authentic not the jersey. An autographed jersey from an NFL player is a pretty cool gift so I wouldn't worry to much about if the jersey is authentic or not. Be thankful your wife gave you a cool gift.

Truly authentic jerseys have everything stitched on....possibly the authentic means the autograph.....I have a patriots jersey and it is all stitched
